This sweet fortified wine is a blend of many vintages over several decades. It has spent these years slowly maturing in well seasoned oak barrels to produce an intense nut-brown tawny with caramelised dates, dried raisin fruits and a rich tangy finish.
TASTING NOTES
Dark brown red core with nutty brown rim. Fragrant nose with caramelised dates, raisins and toffee. Caramelised dates, raisins and toffee on the nose combined with a sweet balanced acidity that holds flavours of dried raisin fruits cooked toffee to a long, rich and zesty finish.
